American Medical Clinicals partners with international medical schools to provide their students with the opportunity to learn and train in hospitals, clinics and offices across the United States. Our well-organized, systematic approach enables us to place each student according to their specific needs and requests.
To ensure a smooth transition, the medical school must submit the student’s request to us preferably at least two week prior to the desired start date. We offer a convenient rolling start date, so that students can begin their rotations on any Monday throughout the year.
Required Student Documentation:
- Letter of enrollment from medical school
- Health records (immunizations, physical exam, drug screen, PPD, flu vaccine)
- Malpractice insurance
- Criminal background check
- USMLE board exam report (if available)
- Copy of identification card (passport or photo ID)
Each student will receive an orientation to discuss rotation options and preferences, so that we can secure a rotation that provides the best fit for the student. We will also manage the submission of student evaluations to the medical school within four weeks of the rotation end date.
As an added benefit, AMC offers continuous advisement for students before, during and after their clinical rotations, to help ensure the student’s success.
